Monday around 1:00 a.m., a vacant farmhouse at 3592 Stevens Sausage Road burned. There were no reported injuries.
A neighbor discovered the fire, but not until the house had almost already burned to the ground. The house had no electricity.
The fire is one of more than twenty arson cases in Johnston County. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 919-989-5010.
A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest or arrests.
