Authorities searching for missing canoeist

PERSON COUNTY Sheriff's officials say a canoe flipped over on the water near Bowmantown and Buck Street roads on Monday afternoon.

The sheriff says one person got out of the water, but they're still searching for the other person.

Officials say alcohol may have been involved in the incident.
