Garner played catch up most of the game, but closed the gap at the end of regulation.
In the third overtime, New Hanover took a 94-92 lead with 4.4 seconds to go.
Garner called a timeout to set up their best play. Rules say that after a timeout, a player cannot take steps along the sideline during the inbounds pass. The referee called the Trojan player for moving, a spot foul in this case, resutling in the turnover.
The game ended 94-92 and the Wildcats eliminated the Trojans from the playoffs.
