The Raleigh Police Department is trying to identify a woman in surveillance photos they say robbed a motel.

On April 10, a woman entered the lobby of the Red Roof Inn at 1813 South Saunders Street and handed a note to the clerk demanding money. She fled the motel on foot.

She is described as a black female in her 20s to 30s with a light complexion. She's about 5'7" to 5'9" tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She was wearing a black jacket with a stripe across the front, large sunglasses and carried a tan and white purse, which is visible in the photos.

Anyone who believes they may recognize the suspect is asked to contact Raleigh CrimeStoppers at (919) 834-HELP. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
