In April, deputies responded to Chatham Hospital and spoke to a woman who said she was assaulted by a friend while she was sleeping.
Cameron Alonte Green, 21, is accused of having sexual relations with the woman multiple times while she was heavily sedated on prescription medication. Investigators say the Durham man was a guest at the victim's home along with several other friends.
Durham police arrested Green earlier this week. He is charged with three counts of second-degree forcible rape and two counts of second-degree forcible sex offense.
His bond was set at $2 million and is scheduled to appear in court on May 9.
