Seized dogs ready for adoption

RALEIGH

Animal control officers raided the dog kennel Thursday with a search and seizure warrant and took nearly 300 animals.

ABC11 cameras filmed row after row of cages and many dogs covered in their own filth.

The animals were moved to a temporary site and then transferred to shelters around North Carolina and some in Virginia.

They've been cleaned up and will be spayed or neutered before being put up for adoption.

Breeds include: Boston Terrier, French Bulldog, Japanese Chin, MaltiPoo, Pomeranian, Shih Tzu, Shih Poo, Shorkie Tzu and Yorkie.
