Dontavious Washington, 23, is facing felony child abuse charges for an incident that happened in May. Investigators were called to a home in Henderson where they found Destini Bullock in cardiac arrest.
She was rushed to the hospital and doctors determined she was abused, causing her heart to stop. She died later.
According to the autopsy, her cause of death is due to "complications of blunt force head injuries." The medical examiner also called the trauma "non-accidental."
Investigators have not said when additional charges are expected to be filed.
