Apex police arrested Brittanee Mason, 22, Friday. She was charged after money went missing from the TJ Maxx store in the Beaver Creek Crossings Shopping Center in Apex.
According to a release order, Mason has confessed to stealing the cash. Her bond was set at $15,000.
Mason is scheduled to appear in a Wake County courtroom Monday.
