Police search for hit-and-run vehicle

Fayetteville Police are still searching for the suspect responsible for the hit and run of a 10-year-old boy.

Officials now have surveillance footage of the car that struck Gabriel Alexander on Jan. 31.

The incident happened just before 8 a.m. on Glensford Drive near the end of a school zone. Gabriel was in the middle of a crosswalk when he was hit and suffered cuts and bruises to his face.

The suspect's vehicle is a dark green, late 90's model Toyota Camry with a missing hubcap on the passenger's side and a damaged side-view mirror on the driver's side.

Police have posted a copy of the video on their Youtube page and on Facebook.
