United Airlines announced Wednesday that will begin offering daily nonstop service between RDU and San Francisco on Aug. 15.
Bahamasair said earlier this week that it'll begin offering non-stop flights from Grand Bahama Island to Raleigh Durham and three other U.S. cities starting May 1.
The other cities are Richmond, Virginia; Louisville, Kentucky; and Baltimore, Maryland. The flights are in place of Vision Airlines' previously operated service.
The flight timetable will be: Mondays and Fridays - Raleigh Durham (RDU) to Grand Bahama Island (FPO) at 7:00 p.m. and Grand Bahama Island to Raleigh Durham at 4:05 p.m.
