Detectives said 20-year-old Kadeem Kirk, of Meharry Drive in Fayetteville, took the girl from her home to a local motel and forced her to have sexual relations with five men. Officials said in exchange for the girl's services, Kirk was paid money and narcotics
Kirk faces 23 felony charges, including second-degree kidnapping, facilitating the prostitution of a minor, and conspiracy to prostitute a minor.
A spokesperson for the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Kirk was arrested at his grandmother's house after deputies got a tip from a viewer who saw Kirk's photo on television.
He is currently being held under a $1.9 million bond.
