NC Lt. Gov race too close to call?

November 7, 2012 12:32:26 PM PST
The race for North Carolina lieutenant governor was still too close to call Wednesday afternoon.

Democrat Linda Coleman and her opponent, Republican Dan Forest have been running a neck-and-neck race.

On election night it was a virtual tie with both candidates sitting at 50 percent.

Less than 15,000 votes were separating the two candidates at last check, with 95 percent of precincts reporting across the state.

It is unclear when the final tally will be announced.
