Raleigh police are searching for a group of well dressed muggers who were anything but good mannered.

They released surveillance images Wednesday of the five men wanted in an assault on Fayetteville Street.

They look like the average person you might see on a weekend night after the bars close downtown. However, police said the men, even one wearing a suit, are all suspects in an assault last month on Josh Mosely.

Mosely was beaten, kicked and badly injured on Nov. 24 when a friend noticed a man going through her purse, which was sitting on a chair at a sidewalk table.

When Mosley yelled at the man as he walked away with the woman's money, all five men turned around and attacked him. He said during the attack they also stole his watch and money.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area around 3 a.m. that Saturday morning to contact them with any information.
