No charges in fatal police-involved shooting

SMITHFIELD, N.C.

The report from the district attorney's office showed Darryl Wiggins was arguing with another man outside a home on North Street in August.

They said Wiggins was pointing a gun at the other man when authorities arrived.

The report said Wiggins yelled "let's do this" at the officers and began walking toward them with his gun aimed at them

Officer Adam Jones and Officer Ireneusz Wilson fired shots at Wiggins, who died.
