Emergency crews responded to the scene of a gas leak in downtown Raleigh Tuesday evening.

It happened just after 9 p.m.

Martin Street was blocked from Fayetteville to Person Streets and Wilmington Street was blocked at Davie Street for about two hours.

The gas leak happened in the same area where a building is being razed because it was collapsing.
