Twenty-one-year-old Gabriel Lopez pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.
Prosecutors said he stabbed 15-year-old Patricia Perez to death.
Attorneys said Lopez killed Perez because he thought she was pregnant with his child.
He confronted her about her choice not to take birth control pills.
