Two injured in shooting near NCCU

DURHAM, N.C.

The shooting happened Saturday around 3:13 a.m. on the 1700 block of Fayetteville Street, across from the NCCU Communications Building.

Two male victims, ages 19 and 27, were shot in the leg, according to police. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Police have not said if either of the victims are students at the university.

Two vehicles were also damaged by gunfire.

Police have not made any arrests in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200.
