Bond could help Wake County schools


A bond of up to $2 billion would be paid for by tax payers.

The big point of debate for everyone attending today's county commissioners retreat is how much of a tax increase.

Republicans control the county commission, but even they can't agree yet on the exact amount.

Last year some balked at the idea of one-billion dollar bond referendum - but now even they admit it will take at least that to keep up with the growth of the schools.
