According to a police report, 19 year-old Olivia McBurney was trying to cross Thorton Road at Wadford Drive when she walked into the path of the truck at 12:48 p.m.
Police said the truck was going westbound at about 35 miles per hour at the time of the incident.
No charges will be filed against the driver, 44-year-old Oscar Martinez-Sarmiento.
