In 2002, the lingerie giant founded "Pink" and released a new ad called "Bright Young Things." Once the ads hit the airwaves, some people did not like what they saw, or didn't see.
"I think it's a little bit provocative," said 23-year-old shopper Jacklin Williamson. "I don't think I'd want my little sister shopping there."
Rumors circulating online said "Bright Young Things" was a new line from Victoria's Secret targeting the even younger "tween" market.
A Victoria's Secret Pink representative, however, sent this statement to ABC11: "Victoria's Secret Pink is a brand for college-aged women. Despite rumors, we have no plans to introduce a collection for younger women. 'Bright Young Things' was a slogan used in conjunction with the college spring break tradition."
