Police said 54-year-old David Keller, of Fayetteville, was traveling through the intersection of Morganton Road and Skibo Road around 4:00 a.m. on his motorcycle when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Keller was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was pronounced dead later that day.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a black Cadillac Escalade or pick-up type vehicle with a New Orleans Saints logo on the back portion of the vehicle. Police said there should be damage to the passenger side door area.
