Raleigh road reopens after power outage

RALEIGH

Wade Avenue near the Ridgewood Shopping Center was closed in both directions for several hours as North Carolina Department of Transportation crews worked to repair a damaged power pole.

Police said just after 3 a.m. a car hit the light pole causing the outage.

It would took crews almost five hours to clean up the mess. Several residents in the area were also without electricity.
