Black Caucus plans to force meeting with McCrory

The ongoing fight at the General Assembly over Republican policies has led to dozens of arrests over the past two weeks. In three separate days of protets, over 50 people were handcuffed and taken to jail. So far, none of those arrested have been lawmakers.

The state's Legislative Black Caucus says they do not want a protest, they just want a meeting.

"We didn't want to be brash and not let them know we were coming. We hope they will receive us warmly," Dem. Rep. Garland Pierce, of Hoke County said.

The group of lawmakers insists it has a duty to put their concerns on record.

Black Caucus members are meeting Wednesday evening to talk about Thursday's course of action.
