The action starts Wednesday in Greensboro, with #4 N.C. State the only local team to take to the mound opening day. The Wolfpack will face #5 Clemson at 7 p.m.
The Tar Heels are the top overall seed in the tournament for the first time since 1990. Their first matchup is against #8 Miami on Thursday.
Carolina claimed a 2-1 series win over Miami in March in Chapel Hill.
The tournament is set up with two pools of four teams playing a round robin format with the two pool winners advancing to Sunday's championship game. Pool A consists of North Carolina, NC State, Clemson and Miami. Pool B consists of Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.
Every game will be televised live on the Regional Sports Network with Sunday's championship being televised on ESPN2.
