Truck carrying orange juice overturns on I-95, 1 dead

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C.

According to the Highway Patrol, the driver was going northbound on I-95 near Four Oaks around 4:20 a.m. when he crossed the median and hit a guardrail, causing the truck to overturn.

The driver of the truck was taken to WakeMed and the passenger who was in the sleeper compartment died on the scene. The passenger has been identified as 47-year-old John Richard Clark, from Beverly Hills, Florida.

The driver, Harold Feill of Orlando, Florida, has been charged with careless and reckless driving and misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. The investigation has revealed that the driver feel asleep at the wheel.

All lanes of I-95 southbound were shut down at exit 90 until 10:30 a.m.
