Seven people were injured after a car lost control in Midtown, possibly due to road conditions, police say.

The accident happened at 4:45 p.m. at Fifth Avenue and 46th Street.

Police at the scene say the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer lost control, hydroplaned, jumped a curb and struck five people.

One was a baby in a stroller who is in serious condition at New York Presbyterian Cornell.

The driver of the SUV was also injured.

Police say none of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
