The fire department's HazMat team used fire alarms to get everyone out of the building safely.

Authorities said they are still investigating the incident since the package was addressed to the Attorney General's Office, which is not at the building on Six Forks Road.

Officials have not said what was inside the package, but did say it did not appear to be threatening.
