Police said an employee at the GMC (General Nutrition Center) in Crossroads Plaza was making a night deposit when two men wearing ski masks and armed with pistols approached him.

The customer reportedly dropped the bag and the suspects picked it up.

The men then ran off into the woods with the deposit bag. The victim was not injured.

Raleigh Police K9s helped searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to find them.

Further details about the incident have not been released.

Meanwhile, police are concerned about similarities between Monday night's holdup and another robbery at a nearby McDonald's about two weeks ago.

No one was hurt during the robbery at the restaurant on Cary Towne Boulevard either. Authorities said both incidents also involved two slim men, about six feet tall, wearing masks that covered the lower part of their faces.

However, police are not linking the two crimes at this time. They are still asking for the public's help in finding the men responsible for each robbery.
