In April 2012, 22-year-old Randy Levon Elliott and 22-year-old Gregory Demon Freeman were shot to death in a parked car in the 800 block of Pender Street, near downtown.
Monday, the Rocky Mount Police Department announced it has arrested 22-year-old Sylvester Andrews and 19-year-old Trayvon Moody.
Both are from Rocky Mount, and both are charged with two counts of first-degree murder. They were being held without bond in the Edgecombe County Jail.
