Last month, 48 others were laid off in Raleigh. In all, 75 people were laid off locally in the past two months.
In Charlotte, 150 workers were laid off from the company's home mortgage refinancing business.
A Wells Fargo spokeswoman said the workers are among 1,865 company employees across the country who were given 60-day notices Wednesday.
