Hundreds of soldiers from the 307th Engineer Battalion will return from Afghanistan on Saturday.
The soldiers were in Afghanistan to ensure safe passage on roads across part of the county.
Officials say the soldiers conducted 1,300 patrols and cleared miles of roads during the nine months they were there.
