While investigating a break-in in the Conetoe area, the sheriff's office learned that the suspect, 38-year-old Christopher Deon Powell, was also wanted by the U.S. Marshall Service.
The sheriff's office received a tip that Powell was at a home in Conetoe. Edgecombe County deputies arrested him and released him into the custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
