Becoats has been in hot water recently for charges of up to $20,000 on a county-issued work credit card belonging to the superintendent.
Before that, he was reprimanded for inappropriately using a district school bus to shuttle family and friends to personal events.
On Thursday, board members met behind closed doors to discuss Becoats' annual evaluation.
Afterwards, the board announced they would not give him any type of performance-based raise and would not be extending his contract. The board had decided in 2012 to extend his contract one more year - taking it through 2016.
An investigation is currently underway into the expensive charges on Becoats' credit card, which he no longer has access to.
The board has said they want Becoats to explain the charges that include extravagant meals, and hotels, along with trips to out of town conferences. There were also gas charges to get to those trips.
As far as the bus use, Becoats has since apologized and paid for the use of the vehicle.
