Second suspect named in Fayetteville double murder

FAYETTEVILLE

They are looking for 24-year-old Shameil Smith, who is charged with two counts of murder.

Smith is known to hang out in the Bonnie Doone and Loch Lomond neighborhoods. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say a fight broke out between two groups in the parking lot of the club and it ended with a gun fight.

Corneilius Jackson, 26, and Melissa Neal, 24, died.

Smith has also been charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder, and two counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property.

Earlier, police also identified 29-year-old Jacoy Mahorn as a suspect in the case.
