Authorities said 22-year-old James Edward Walker Jr., of Dearborn Drive, turned himself in to police.
Walker is facing murder charges in connection with the shooting death of 24-year-old Patrick Daniel Holmes of Durham.
On Dec. 2, police officers found Holmes lying dead in the 1300 block of Fidelity Drive in Cambridge Village.
