Wake County Public School System Director of Public Affairs Renee McCoy told ABC11 that a group of students and staff were standing outside near dismissal time when a nude man appeared near the woods next to the school's athletic fields.
Staff members told the man to stop, but when he continued walking, two staff members subdued him until law enforcement and EMS arrived.
No one at the school, in the 700 block of East Lenoir Street, was harmed.
Families with questions are asked to contact the school. Counselors will be available Wednesday for students if needed.
