The Robeson County Sheriff's Office says there have been four reports in the past month in Parkton.
The first one happened in the early morning hours of Nov. 28 after a 21-year-old woman said she had been sexually assaulted.
On Dec. 5, a 19-year-old woman, a 28-year-old woman, and a 32-year-old man told authorities they had been kidnapped and the women were robbed and sexually assaulted.
Two days later, authorities said a 37-year-old woman was sexually assaulted, while a 55-year-old man was severely beaten by the suspects.
The most recent incident happened on Dec. 11, when a 17-year-old and 23-year-old woman told authorities they were also sexually assaulted.
All the victims told authorities that they were notified by backpage.com to come to Lariat Court in Parkton, and then were taken to a wooded area.
None of the victims were from the Parkton area.
Two men have been charged in connection with the crimes.
Alfonso Luis Chacon, 31 , of Lariat Court has been charged with 1st degree kidnapping, 1st degree rape, robbery with a dangerous weapon, 2nd degree sexual offense, assault on a female, and felony conspiracy.
He is currently in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $500,000.00 bond.
Shawn Pierre Chacon, 27, of Conaster Road has also been charged with 1st degree kidnapping, 1st degree rape, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon serious injury, larceny of motor vehicle, 1st degree sexual offense, felony conspiracy, and 2nd degree sexual offense.
He is currently being held in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $1,000,000.00 bond.
