It happened at 5:50 a.m. between Coley and Southview roads.

Authorities said a Dodge pick-up truck driven by Robert Breeden III, of Raleigh, was traveling west on NC 98 when he drifted and collided head-on into a white Isuzu SUV driven by 43-year-old Jorge Avalar, of Durham.
Avalar and his brother, 47-year-old Andreas Avalar, also from Durham, were trapped inside the SUV and died at the scene.
Breeden has been charged with DWI and two counts of felony death by motor vehicle. He was released from Durham County jail Saturday, after posting bond.
The crash is still under investigation.
