Taurus Davis is in the Wayne County Jail. He's charged with murder.
Police say 62-year-old Robert Davis was found unresponsive in his home Wednesday night.
Davis was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville with severe head injuries. He died Thursday afternoon.
Davis is being held on a $150,000 bond.
