Elderly couple beaten, robbed in Fayetteville home

FAYETTEVILLE

Police say it happened Saturday at 1:25 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of Berwick Drive when four men forced their way into the home through the front door.

At least two of the suspects were armed with handguns as they entered the home and began to demand that the couple give them all of their money.

When the suspects were unable to restrain the couple, police say they began to punch and kick them.

The suspects fled the home with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are not identifying the names of the victims at this time.
