Kevin Terrell Jones, 27, was in the custody of the Wendell Police Department when he managed to break free and flee on foot. Jones was described as wearing a black and white striped shirt and light-colored blue jeans. He was last seen on Sunnybrook Road south of New Bern Avenue.
Jones is currently facing charges of involving a felony probation violation, an assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting, delaying or obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Anyone who believes they have seen Jones is asked to call 911.
