FBI searching for serial bank robber in Wake and Franklin counties

RALEIGH

The suspect, who is being called "Eyes Only Bandit," is accused of four bank heists in Wake and Franklin counties.

In all of the robberies, the suspect was wearing a hoodie, gloves, and had his face covered. Only his eyes can be seen.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 to 35-years-old. He was between 5' 8" to 5' 10" tall. The FBI said he has shown a black semi-automatic gun in two of the robberies.

He is accused of robbing four banks in a three month span. The banks were:

  • PNC Bank, 300 North Arendell Avenue, Zebulon on Dec. 16, 2013
  • PNC Bank, 102 East Branch Street, Spring Hope, Jan. 10, 2014
  • First Citizens Bank, 101 North Main Street, Franklinton, Feb. 26, 2014
  • First Citizens Bank, 101 North Main Street, Franklinton, March 13, 2014

The FBI said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
