RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are asking for the public's help identifying the man they say assaulted another man unprovoked at a downtown bar.



Police said the assault happened at the Foundation bar in the 200 block of Fayetteville Street on Sept. 7 just before 1 a.m.



The suspect reportedly struck and injured another man who was working at the bar, then the suspect fled on foot.



Police said the suspect is about 6 feet tall, and attempts to identify him have been unsuccessful.
