It's been a golden age of men's tennis during the past 15 years or so, with the likes of Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray.
One glaring omission has been the lack of success by Americans.
The next generation is here to try, including Frances Tiafoe, the son of immigrants from Sierra Leone, who is spending the week playing in Cary after a good showing at the recent US Open.
