James Bond jetpack comes to life over London

LONDON (WTVD) -- It was like a scene out of a James Bond movie on Wednesday when former commercial pilot and inventor David Mayman took to the skies over London with a jetpack.

He flew over the River Thames for about four minutes.

The pack can reach speeds of over 100 miles per hour and can fly for up to 12 minutes on one tank.

Mayman hopes to start selling an electric version of the pack next year. It won't be cheap. The estimated price is $250,000.
