Second suspect arrested in southeast Raleigh fatal shooting

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police have arrested another suspect in connection with a fatal shooting on Middle Branch Road in southeast Raleigh last week.

On the morning of Sept. 24th, officers found 23-year-old Travis Malloy inside a minivan with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to WakeMed, where he later died.

On Sunday, police charged 26-year-old Daquan Timothy White with murder in connection with Malloy's death.

His arrest comes a week after police arrested 25-year-old Anthony Darius Neal. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
