Woman plucked from ship off North Carolina coast

CAPE HATTERAS, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Coast Guard used a helicopter this weekend to evacuate a woman suffering from a diabetic shock from a cruise ship about 110 miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras.

When the Jayhawk arrived at Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas, the 75-year-old woman was hoisted to the helicopter.

She was taken to a hospital in Norfolk.
