Racist graffiti spray-painted on Moore County bridges

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating after vandals spray-painted racist graffiti on several highway overpasses in Moore County.

ABC11 viewers sent in multiple pictures of the bridges that featured the words "KKK" along with the N-word and a four-letter obscenity.

Viewers said the graffiti was on overpasses along US-1 between Vass and Southern Pines.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed workers have already covered the graffiti with white paint.
