Cary (WTVD) -- Runners pound the pavement in the 14th annual Tobacco Road Marathon and Half Marathon in Cary, NC.
The race is more than just a run. It has raised more than 1.3 million dollars for local charities.
The marathon started at 7 a.m. on Green Hope School Road in Cary, on Sunday, March 17.
