A Carbarrus County church was destroyed as a result of one of the fires.
Police arrested Jerry Eugene Reames and charged him with arson.
The pastor of Good Shepherd Ministries said she doesn't have her church, but she has her congregation.
"I just trust God," Pastor Marie Ann Negley said. "And so I trust him, and so I got over it. So I said, 'God, thank you, nobody got hurt.' That's the most important thing."
Reames faces numerous charges, including first-degree arson, burning of a church, resisting an officer and possession of drugs.
